Mizo footballer Lallianzuala Chhangte awarded ‘Best Indian Player of the Year’

Mizoram football player Lallianzuala Chhangte, who plays for Mumbai City FC, was awarded the Best Indian Player of the Year during the Indian Football Awards organized by the Football Players Association of India on Saturday.
Greg Stewart of Mumbai City FC has been awarded the best foreign player of the year, Des Buckingham of Mumbai City FC the best coach, and Shiva Shakti N has been awarded the best youngest player of the year at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok.
Menla Ethenpa, President of the Sikkim Football Association, graced the event as chief guest.
Vice President of the Sikkim Football Association, Chungchung Bhutia, and former national captain of the Indian football team, Bhaichung Bhutia, were also present at the event.
On the occasion, a friendly match was also played between Sikkim Star and the Football Players Association of India.
The Football Players Association of India won the match 2-0 against Sikkim Star.
