10 year old among 3 injured in car crash in Mizoram

The driver of the car, Zaithanchhunga (37), succumbed to his injuries at Aizawl's Civil Hospital
One person (the driver of the car) died and three others including a 10-year-old child were injured in a road accident on the outskirts of Keifang hamlet of Champhai District, on Monday.
According to officials from Saitual district, the car was travelling from Champhai towards Aizawl when it skidded off the road and fell several feet down from the highway.
There were two male and two female passengers inside the vehicle. All are residents of Champhai Vengthlang North.
The injured were first taken to Saitual hospital and were further taken to Civil Hospital, Aizawl.
The driver of the car, Zaithanchhunga (37), succumbed to his injuries at Aizawl’s Civil Hospital.
The others injured are- Malsawmtluanga (10), Vanhmingthangi and RK Lalrintluangi. RK Lalrintluangi was immediately admitted to the ICU.
