Meghalaya CM lauds contribution of Baptist Missionaries in Garo Hills

Close to 40,000 people had converged to attend the congregation from different parts of the state
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma lauded the contribution of the Baptist Missionaries in the Garo Hills. He said this in his address at the 150th Annual General Meeting of Garo Baptist Convention and the Sesqui-centennial Jubilee of the A’chik Baptist Dalgipa Krima or ABDK at Bethel A’bri, Balupara in West Garo Hills, on Sunday.
The Chief Minister further extended his greetings to the faithful and thanked the Lord Almighty for giving him this opportunity to be amidst them all.
Sangma also shared the news on his official X handle. He wrote, “Attend the 150th AGM of the Garo Baptist Convention & Sesquicentenary at Bethel A’bri, Balupara, in West Garo Hills District joined by the President of World Baptist Alliance Dr. Tomás Mackey. Immensely blessed by the sermon delivered and the songs by the choirs today. May the the teachings of Christ inculcate in us the spirit of brotherhood and peace and bring us closer to God Almighty. Wishing everyone a blessed Sunday!”
