Meghalaya: 2 arrested in connection with Ichamati murder case

Two persons have been arrested in connection with the twin murders at Ichamati village in East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya last week.
The arrested persons have been identified as–Shanborlang Shati (26) and Mesadapbor Skhembil (26).
As per inputs, the duo were arrested from the Sohra area of East Khasi Hills yesterday night.
The arrested duo were produced before the court today and after hearing the case, they were sent to seven days of police custody, said Superintendent of Police (SP) East Khasi Hills, Rituraj Ravi.

Earlier, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that police are on the lookout for the main accused in the suspected twin murders. He has also assured that all the guilty will be brought to book.
