With sights on the upcoming Manipur Polls the Congress has formed a pre-poll alliance with five like minded parties ahead of the poll-battle to counter the BJP, NPP as well

With sights on the upcoming Manipur Polls the Congress has formed a pre-poll alliance with five like minded parties ahead of the poll-battle to counter the BJP, NPP as well as the NPF. The other parties which have joined hands with Congress are the CPI, CPI(M), RSP, JD(S) and the Forward Block. Meanwhile, all the six parties have decided to field a common candidate in the Khurai assembly constituency. The parties will go for a friendly fight in the Kakching assembly constituency.

The poll battle will indeed be an exciting one as the Congress and 5 other parties have unified under a common platform, while the BJP and its coalition partners, the NPP as well as the NPF have decided to go solo in the elections.
