The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has questioned the State government’s silence over the alleged misappropriation of funds under the PMGSY scheme in Churachandpur, despite being highlighted by the party.

MPCC President K. Meghachandra today remarked it is unfortunate that the RD&PR minister and its officials have declined their proposal for a joint spot verification of the road in Churachandpur.
Earlier, the Manipur Congress president had alleged that the Galkapkot to Gamhui stretch has not been implemented properly despite total funds to the tune of 8 crore 29 lakh Rupees having been released to the contractor.
