Manipur celebrates 51st statehood day

Manipur today celebrated its 51st statehood day at the MR parade ground, Imphal
On the occasion, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh was greeted by 14 contingents, including a cycling patrol police team and the Sagol Police (a Manipur Police cavalry unit). The committee members also paid floral tributes to those who took part in the movement for statehood. Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live the Chief Minister expressed his best wishes to the people of the state.
