Curfew relaxation in Imphal West and East reduced to 4 hours from 5am to 9 am from today

The order prohibited the gathering of people for any other purposes other than buying essentials and doing essential work

The curfew relaxation timings in Imphal West and Imphal East districts have been reduced to fours hours – 5 am to 9 am from today (June 14) from the earlier 13 hours relaxation from 5am to 6pm, an order issued today said.

This had been done keeping in view the law and order situation in trouble-torn Manipur.

The order prohibited the gathering of people for any other purposes other than buying essentials and doing essential work.

As per Kuldiep Singh, Security Advisor, Manipur Government, during the last 24 hours, 15 arms and 63 rounds of ammunition were recovered from Tengnoupal and Imphal East Districts.

A total of 1,040 arms, 13,601 ammunition and 230 bombs of different kinds have been recovered till date from Manipur, Kuldiep Singh informed.
