Rahul Gandhi is BJP’s star campaigner: Assam CM

According to Himanta Biswa Sarma, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi does not have any leadership quality at all
BJP’s top strategist for Northeast and Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma today teared into the Congress and termed Rahul Gandhi as the BJP’s biggest star campaigner.
If that was not all, Sarma has termed the Congress scion as a leader who lacks adequate qualities. Sarma, who is also the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor, also does not see any future of the grand old party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
With Lok Sabha elections in all likelihood to be held in April, Himanta Biswa Sarma’s sharp attack comes just after the Congress leader traversed through Manipur, Nagaland, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh as part of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
Speaking on the sidelines of an event in Eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Any place where Rahul will pass through, Congress will ceast to exist in those places. Whatever exists now will also finish. Because he is so uninspiring, so much arrogant, he has no leadership quality at all. Wherever he lands his feet, that place will become perfect for the BJP. He is the BJP’s biggest star campaigner.”
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also responded to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s decision to dump the Congress-led Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.) and join the NDA again.
According to Sarma, the I.N.D.I.A bloc could not succeed since it was formed with the sole purpose of opposing PM Narendra Modi, who he said has now become a global inspiration.
Sarma stated, “When INDI Alliance was formed, we told everyone that this is a shortlived alliance, this alliance will not live for long because of ideological contradiction. Their only target was PM Narendra Modi. You cannot form an alliance only to oppose an individual. Today Prime Minister has become a world leader, he inspires the entire global community. The disintegration of INDIA will prove or disintegration of INDIA bloc is once again to establish the fact that PM Modi will be relected with a huge majority again in the next Lok Sabha election.”
