The Punjab Chief Minister will participate in a roadshow at Biswanath Chariali for AAP candidate Rishiraj Kaundinya under Sonitpur Lok Sabha constituency.

Ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be arriving in Dibrugarh tomorrow to drumb up support for the Aam Aadmi Party candidates in Assam.

CM Mann will attend a public rally at Bangali Balijan, Tingrai in Tinsukia district at 1pm tomorrow. Mann will campaign for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Manoj Dhanowar.

Later in the day, the Punjab Chief Minister will participate in a roadshow at Biswanath Chariali for AAP candidate Rishiraj Kaundinya under Sonitpur Lok Sabha constituency.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Aam Aadmi party leader Atishi Marlena conducted a rally to endorse Rishiraj Kaundinya, the AAP’s candidate for Sonitpur and firmly asserted that the party will open its account in the northeastern state.

While speaking to media, Atishi said, ‘Given the positivity that exists for AAP, given the kind of love and support that AAP has always gotten from the people of Assam, one would never have expected that AAP would win municipal seats in Tinsukia. People across the state of Assam know about AAP, know about Arvind Kejriwal and know about the work we have done. The two seats that we are contesting are Dibrugarh and Sonitpur. We are strongly in the fight and I feel AAP will open its account in Assam.’
