Over 10 students faint at a school in Assam due to scorching heat

The hospital in-charge urged the school authorities to conduct morning assembly at cooler places or inside the class rooms
Assam continues to be in the grip of blistering hot weather. At least 10 students of a school in Assam’s Bajali district fainted today due to scorching heat.
The incident has been reported from Swahid Madan Routa High School in Saderi village in Bajali district.
As per inputs, the students fainted after morning assembly players. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Pathsala.
Speaking to Northeast Live, hospital in-charge, Rana Deka informed that the most of the students were given first aid as per symptoms.
He urged the school authorities to conduct morning assembly at cooler places or inside the class rooms.
