Himanta Biswa Sarma turns 55, PM Modi, HM Shah, NE CMs greet dynamic Assam CM

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has turned 55 today. Popular as the People’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma has been instrumental and often regarded as the man behind BJP’s surge in the Northeast.

Known for his political acumen, Himanta Biswa Sarma has been exceptional in rolling out people oriented schemes with only one agenda – development and welfare of his people.

Leaders extended greetings to the dynamic Assam Chief Minister on his birthday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among them who called CM Sarma as ‘hard working’ and wished Himanta Biswa Sarma a long and healthy life.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote, “Birthday greetings to the hardworking CM of Assam, Dr. @himantabiswa Sarma Ji. He is making numerous efforts to strengthen Assam’s development journey and empower the poor, marginalised and downtrodden. May he lead a long and healthy life in service of the people.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings the Assam CM and posted on X saying, “Birthday greetings to Assam Chief Minister Shri @himantabiswa Ji. Your energetic efforts to fulfill Modi Ji’s vision for a prosperous Assam is commendable. I pray to God for your good health to keep serving the people.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also greeted Himanta Biswa Sarma on his birthday.

“Greetings and warm wishes to the dynamic Chief Minister of Assam, Shri @himantabiswa ji on his birthday. Under his leadership the state is witnessing growth, development and prosperity. Praying for his long and healthy life,” Rajnath Singh posted on X.

Chief Ministers of the Northeast states have also extended their greetings to Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio posted on X, “Warm birthday greetings, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma @himantabiswa, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam. May God bless you with good health, long life and success in all your endeavours.”

Arunachal CM Pema Khandu in a post on X wrote, “Dear Hon CM of Assam, Shri @himantabiswa Ji, On this special day, I wish you a very happy birthday.

Your dedication towards development, deep bonding with people is truly commendable. Assam thrives under your leadership, experiencing peace and growth.
May Lord Buddha bless you with good health and long life.”

Tripura CM Manik Saha also wished Himanta Biswa Sarma on his birthday.

Taking to social media he said, “Warm birthday greetings to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma Ji. Your commitment to the development of #Assam & North East Region is motivating. The development initiatives by you have always focused on cultural, traditional & value based practice. Maa Tripura Sundari bless you with healthy & prosperous life ahead.”
