Assam hearthrob Zubeen Garg discharged from hospital

Post discharge, the star singer thanked his fans and well wishers for their prayers.

Assam hearthrob and popular singer Zubeen Garg was discharged from hospital today. Zubeen was admitted to a superspecialty hospital 5 days ago after suffeirng a fall in his studio in Guwahati. According to doctors, Zubeen’s health had deteriorated due to low levels of potassium and magnesium.

Post discharge, the star singer thanked his fans and well wishers for their prayers.

Garg speaking to mediapersons said, “I am fine. In medical terms, doctors said that potassium, magnesium levels in my body had decreased. They said that it occurs due to frequent movements, doing overwork. Everything is fine, I got the best medical treatment. But I am having cough because of exposure to dust during shoot of Sikaar, rest everything is good.”

The singer, who is also a producer in the Assamese film industry said that he continued to work whenever he found the right oppurtunity while he was still admitted to the ICU in the hospital.

He said, “In the ICU whenever I got the oppurtunity I tried to finish the script for Roi Roi Binaale, it is my next feature film.”

Zubeen further said that he will continue to work and will also participate in a number of upcoming stage events. The singer-actor-director stated, “I am not cancelling my upcoming shows scheduled to be held on November 19 and 26.”

The popular Assam singer has also sung several Bollywood hit numbers, was hospitalised on Wednesday. He was recording a song in a studio when he collapsed and was rushed to a hopital in Guwahati early morning.
