Assamese actor Sukanya Boruah made her Hollywood debut in the soul-stirring music video “Shangri-La” by rising Irish pop sensation Moncrieff.

Shot entirely in India, the visually stunning video captures the euphoric highs of love and Sukanya Boruah brings it to life with poise and passion.

Directed by Tirth Dodia under Lost Films Production, “Shangri-La” paints a picture of a romantic connection so powerful it feels otherworldly.

From dancing in open fields to soaring through clouds with wings, the video celebrates the bliss and freedom that love can bring all while paying homage to the beauty of nature.

In the video, Moncrieff and Sukanya take viewers through a cinematic journey of love running hand-in-hand through lush landscapes, laughing in golden light, and symbolically growing wings to fly, embodying the dreamy intensity of romantic euphoria.

This marks a major milestone for Sukanya Boruah. Her graceful screen presence and emotional depth in this international project are sure to make her a talent to watch.

“Flying to India to shoot this video a week before the song came out was one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken, but I’m so proud of this one. I hope you love it,” Moncrieff tweeted.

Moncrieff, originally from Waterford, Ireland, now based in London, is known for his genre-fluid music and powerful vocals. With “Shangri-La,” he has taken a bold creative step and Sukanya shines right at the heart of it.

The Guwahati-born actor, Sukanya Boruah known for roles in Nima Denzongpa (2021), Tumake Sai (2021), and Tumi Janane (2023), brings depth and grace to the screen, making her debut in a Hollywood production a moment to remember.
