Assam: 2 die after speeding car rams into truck

The car’s windows, roof and the bumper were smashed following the collision.
In a horrific accident, at least two people were killed after the car they were travelling in hit a truck by the roadside in Lakhimpur district of Assam late on Wednesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Sumi Basumatary and Jatin Morang.

The family of the deceased girl, have alleged foul play and claimed it to be planned murder.
Sumi’s family members alleged that she was being stalked and threatened by a person identified as Raju Thakur since a long time.
The family has also claimed that Thakur forced Sumi along with him on the fateful night.
“Thakur threatened to kill her on numerous occasions. The incident is well planned murder. He had previously been in a similar accident too” the girl’s family claimed.
