6 Workers Injured in Crane Malfunction Are Out of Danger: Dalmia Cement

The injured individuals were promptly rushed to the nearest HAMM Hospital in Hojai for medical treatment and all of them are out of danger
Dalmia Cement North East today said that a crane at their Umrangso Project Site “suffered a malfunction” and six workers present at the site were injured and are now out of danger.
“On August 3, 2024. around 18:40 hours, a crane at our Umrangso Project Site suffered a malfunction, due to which six contract workmen were injured. All injured persons were immediately rushed to the nearest HAMM Hospital in Hojai and all of them are now out of danger”, the company said in a statement issued today.
“We are fully seized of the matter and taking requisite actions including taking due care of injured personnel for their recovery”, the company further said in the statement.
“Dalmia Cement North East Ltd would like to place facts on record regarding an accident at its UmrangsoProject site in the state of Assam.
