4 killed in Assam in two separate road accidents

Two bike riders died in an accident in Goalpara district after an unknown vehicle hit them.

In a tragic incident, at least four people died in two separate road accidents in Assam on Sunday morning.

In one incident, two bike riders died in Goalpara district after an unknown vehicle hit them.

The accident took place on National Highway 17 at Dhanubhanga near Dudhnoi in the district.

One of the victim has been identified as Bikas Rabha, while the identity of the other remains unknown.

As per inputs, when both bikers were on their way home from Guwahati, an unknown speedy vehicle hit them on the national highway.

Following the incident, both bikers were killed on the spot.

In another incident, a woman was found dead on a road and a man lying injured on the bypass road in Bakpara in Assam’s Dibrugarh district on Sunday morning.

The police suspect that the man may have met with a fatal road accident.

The injured man was sent to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in a critical condition for treatment.

The identities of the woman and man are yet to be ascertained.
