Z+ category security cover for Assam CM

The MHA has directed the CRPF to upgrade the security cover of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Big move after security review meet.
The Centre has upgraded the security cover of Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to the top category of Z plus after a recent review of his security, top officials informed Northeast Live.
Sarma is presently being protected by a Z category cover provided by the CRPF’s VIP security unit.
However, after a recent security review, the CRPF has been directed by the Ministry of Home Affairs or the MHA to upgrade the Assam Chief Minister’s security to the top category of Z-plus ‘on an all-India basis.
