3 wrestlers from Arunachal to participate In National Championships in Visakhapatnam

The wrestlers--Dada Riba, Janwang Khimhun and Mirem Tayeng were selected based on how well they did at the recent 2nd North East Olympic Games
As many as three wrestlers from Arunachal Pradesh will compete in the three-day national championships to be held at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh from December 21-23, 2022.
The wrestlers are–Dada Riba, Janwang Khimhun and Mirem Tayeng.
They accompanied by their coaches- A Malemnganba Meitei and Dari Lokam left for Andhra Pradesh on Sunday to participate in the National Wrestling Championships.
While Riba will contest in the 55 kg Greco Roman event, Khimhun and Tayeng will compete in the 79 kg and 86 kg freestyle events, respectively.
They were selected based on how well they did at the recent 2nd North East Olympic Games in Shillong, Meghalaya.
