The manual will be published on the commission's website, where stakeholders, experts, and academics can provide feedback.

In a bid to make Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) clean and transparent, Secretary Parul Gaur Mittal today informed that the commission is finalizing a new set of guidelines.

The manual will be published on the commission’s website, where stakeholders, experts, and academics can provide feedback. Mittal said the APPSC plans to use this feedback to improve the manual.

Mittal also mentioned that the APPSC currently has four active exam advertisements on its website, with interviews scheduled to start in July. If additional stages are added to the exams, the timeline may change. Additionally, she announced that more advertisements will be released in July.

Speaking to Northeast Live, the APPSC secretary said, “We are revamping all the guidelines. We are making robust guidelines in which the loopholes will be filled up as well as along with the new recommendations which have come in. For that we had taken views and suggestions from the aspirants.

Altogether we received 309 suggestions, we analyzed those and incorporated whichever was found suitable. The new manual will be place on the Commission’s website. We will seek further suggestions so that after going through the new manual, whatever suggestions that stakeholders have be it an academician or an aspirant, we will try to incorporate those also. 4 advertisements have already been published and we look forward to conduct interviews for these advertisements in the month of July itself.”
