Arunachal’s Miram Taron is free from the clutches of the Chinese. But his traumatic experience of the 17-year-old is certainly not over.

While it is almost a month since Miram was handed over to the Indian Army by the Chinese PLA, it seems he is yet to recover from the wounds and trauma that he experienced in the clutches of the Chinese.

Miram’s family has alleged that the 17-year-old boy is suffering from the wounds that he received during his custody with the PLA.

Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Miram’s father Opang Taron said that Miram had been suffering from severe headaches and body aches and also trauma.

Taron informed that Miram was taken to Pasighat where doctors detected multiple fractures in his body after tests.

While he is finding no assistance for Miram’s treatment, Opang Taron said that doctors for the time being have advised the complete rest of two months for the boy.

It was also alleged that Miram was tortured in Chinese custody which resulted in him suffering several fractures and internal injuries.

Miram, a resident from Arunachal Pradesh‘s Upper Siang district, was picked up by China’s PLA while he was on a hunting trip with a friend.

It was alleged that Miram was abducted from within Indian territory which the PLA had intruded into.

He was handed over to the Indian Army after being in the custody of the PLA for over a week.
