Arunachal to get 1st Aqua Park in India

The Aqua Park will be established at a total project cost not exceeding Rs 4359.04 lakh with Central share of Rs 3923.14 lakh.
The first Aqua Park of India has been sanctioned to Arunachal Pradesh by the Centre. Chief Minister Pema Khandu informed this and said the Aqua Park has been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana under the CSS component.
The said integrated Aqua Park has been appraised by Project Appraisal Committee in a meeting held on July 19.
The Department of Fisheries of the Government of India has approved the project for the establishment of the Aqua Park at a total project cost not exceeding Rs 4359.04 lakh with Central share of Rs 3923.14 lakh.
The admissible central liability will be released to Govt of Arunachal Pradesh in 4 equal instalments as per the latest guidelines of Dept of Expenditure. Release of each instalment will be subject to utilization of at least 75% of the funds previously released.
Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana is a scheme to bring about Blue Revolution through sustainable and responsible development of fisheries sector in the nation.
