However, as per latest inputs the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is providing food and other essentials to those in distress.

As per the advisory, continues snowfall has been experienced in the Sela Pass area due to which heavy accumulation of snow has been reported on the BCT Road from Jaswant Garh (Tawang) to Baisakhi in West Kameng district. The advisory stated that this has led to traffic jams for hours together or even days on the already stressed-out road condition.

The Arunachal Tourism department posted a copy of the traffic advisory on X and said that any violation, “shall entail prosecution as per law and this advisory shall remain in force until further notice.”

It may be mentioned that different parts of the frontier state are experiencing snowfall. Chief Minister Pema Khandu himself posted pictures on social media.
