The notice stated that the concerned DDSE will be held responsible if it fails to comply with the given order.
After putting a stop to all appointments of contractual teachers without prior government approval, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has now issued an order, directing that mass transfer and posting of teachers done by Deputy Director of School Education(DDSE) should be stopped at the district level.
The order also directed the DDSE to submit the list of the mass transfer and posting done from their end to initiate further necessary action. The order further stated that the concerned DDSE will be held responsible if it fails to comply with the given order.
Reacting to the decision, Congress MLA, Kumar Waii said, “I totally support the order issued by Director of Secondary Education of Arunachal Pradesh. I do not see it from the political lens. No one benefits from mass transfer and posting. Good teachers should be awarded instead of looking at them through political lens. I request everyone not to do mass transfer and posting of teachers for political gains.”
