Arunachal: Direct Flights Launched Between Itanagar And Guwahati

Boosting connectivity between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, Alliance Air has launched direct flights between Itanagar and Guwahati.

Alliance Air will operate Dornier aircraft four times a week from Guwahati to Itanagar, while direct flights from Itanagar to Guwahati will be operated thrice a week.

The direct flights between the two neighboring states in the Northeast are expected to boost regional connectivity and make travel more convenient.

Direct flights to the frontier state are also expected to push the development of Arunachal Pradesh.

Meanwhile, announcing the development in a post on X, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu wrote, “Happy to announce the start of Guwahati to Itanagar flights by Alliance Air, operating with Dornier aircraft 4 times a week and Itanagar to Guwahati flights thrice a week.”

“This will further give a significant boost to regional connectivity, making travel more convenient and fostering growth in Arunachal Pradesh,” he added.

It may be mentioned here that direct flights from Donyi-Polo Airport, Hollongi, to Kolkata commenced earlier this month, bolstering connectivity.
