Arunachal CM shares stunning video of Yameng waterfall

Yameng waterfall is part of the popular Chumi Gyatse Falls or Holy Waterfalls. This is a collection of 108 waterfalls.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu often shares stunning posts on his social media handles that highlight Arunachal’s unexplored beauty.

In his recent share on his official Twitter handle, CM Khandu shared a spectacular video of a waterfall that leaves everyone stunned. It might even prompt many to pay a visit to the state.

Taking to Twitter CM Khandu wrote and I quote “Yameng waterfall is simply magnificent, amazing! You can reach this iconic place while travelling from Tawang to Mago. Verdant greenery, captivating charm of the area will enthral you beyond your imagination. Do visit to enjoy the grandeur of nature,”.

Meanwhile, the video shows the majestic Yameng waterfall surrounded by the mighty Sulungti Mountains. It lies on the way from Mago to Tawang.

According to the video, locals consider this particular waterfall to be a part of Chumi Gyatse Falls, which is a collection of 108 waterfalls.

The video also gives Netizens a glimpse of the magnificent waterfall cascading from high mountain peaks. Surrounded by lush greenery and clear blue skies, Yameng waterfall is truly a sight to behold. Social media users were awestruck by its beauty. Many hailed Arunachal Pradesh for its stunning landscapes.

Locals believe that the waterfalls were created when Guru Padmasambhava flung his rudraksha rosary against rocks and 108 streams gushed down. Pilgrims often visit this waterbody and fill bottles with holy water. They believe that water has healing properties.
