A’chal Govt’s Christmas Gift: DA, DR of State Govt Employees and Pensioners Raised by 4%

Good news for all state government employees and pensioners of Arunachal Pradesh. The state government ahead of Christmas, has raised the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of state government employees and pensioners by 4%. The hike will be effective from July 1, 2022.
The DA and DR has been raised from the current 34% to 38%.
“…Happy to announce 4 enhanced Dearness Allowance for State Govt employees – from existing 34% to 38% – effective from July 1, 2022”, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said in a tweet.
In another tweet, the CM announced, “We have also increased Dearness Relief by 4% for State Government & Family pensioners – from existing 34% to 38% – w.e.f from July 1, 2022”.
The CM said this was in keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s broad vision and values and the Government’s commitment of ‘Sabka Vikas, Sabka Saath’.
Twitter users of Arunachal Pradesh has welcomed the hike terming it as a ‘wonderful Christmas and New Year gift.
