Tragic: 3 women including a mother-daughter mowed down by train in Assam

The incident occured in Bongaigaon district while the trio were returning home from a market
In a tragic incident, three women including a mothe-daughter duo lost their lives in Assam’s Bongaigaon district after being hit by a train.
The deceased have been identifed as Kalpana Barman, her 11-year-old daughter Priya Barman and another woman identified as Munna.
The trio were killed after being hit by Guwahati-Bengaluru Express at a railway crossing in Bongaigaon.
As per reports, they were hit by the train while they were on their way home. But there is still no clarity as to how they got hit by the train.
