Sikkim: SKM leader Hari Chandra Chettri resigns as Vice Chairman of NHPC

As per sources, Hari Chandra Chettri is also likely to resign from SKM later today and join the Citizen Action Party (CAP) at Melli

Hari Chandra Chettri, the leader of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), has resigned from his position as Vice Chairman of the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC).
In his resignation letter submitted to SKM president and Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang Golay on Saturday, Chettri wrote, ” I Hari Chandra Chettri would like to bring to your kind notice that lam resigning from the post of Vice Chairman (NHPC) with effect from today.”
Chettri who hails from Namthang, South Sikkim, was appointed as the Vice Chairman of NHPC in 2019, after SKM formed the government in the Hill state.
As per sources, Hari Chandra Chettri is also likely to resign from the party later today and join the Citizen Action Party (CAP) at Melli.
