Ahead of the Sikkim Assembly polls scheduled to be held early next year, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has assured the Limboo-Tamang community of the state that seats would be reserved for the community in the state Assembly.
The CM convened a crucial meeting at his official residence, Mintokgang, to discuss with the executive members from various associations regarding the status of the Limboo-Tamang seat reservation in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly.
In attendance were representatives from the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party-level committee for Limboo-Tamang seat reservation, Sikkim Tamang Buddhist Association, and Sikkim Yakthung Sapsok Songjhumbo.
