Two workers from Assam killed in a landslide in Mizoram

The two workers were trapped under the debris after the landslide at an under construction rail station project site
Two workers from Assam were killed after a massive landslide hit the site of the under construction Railway Station at Kawnpui in Kolasib district along the Mizoram-Assam border on Wednesday.
The workers have been identified as Dipak Datta (27) and Durga Prasad Passi (53),
both residents of Machak in Nagoan District.
They were trapped under the debris post the landslide. The bodies of the two workers have been sent to their homes in Assam, police sources said.
Questions are now being raised about the safety protocol at the project site.
