The CYMA president while appealing to join the war against drugs said, “Though the Mizo society and the Young Mizo Association support our brethren seeking safety and asylum in Mizoram, we will be very firm with those using the crises at Myanmar and Manipur as an excuse to smuggle drugs through Mizoram.”

Mizoram Journalists Association president C Lalrambuatsaiha also stated that substance abuses are prevalent among the youths in the State and that the society as a whole must work together to stop thi evil for further penetrating into the society.

Lalrambuatsaiha highlighted that both the MJA and the YMA are two organisations working towards the same goal.
