Indians, who had been fervently praying for team India to win and bring home the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup trophy this time were devastated, deeply disappointed and shattered after team India failed to show its dominance over Australia and lost the title clash of ODI World Cup 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

As Australia defeated India by six wickets to win the match and took home the trophy, furious and upset fans in Arunachal Pradesh vented out their frustrations by smashing their TV sets as they criticised the performance of the Indian team.

After the victory of the Kangaroos, while some showed support for the ‘Men in Blue’ and praised them for their game, many expressed their disappointment.

Australia defeated India by six wickets to win the Cricket World Cup. They have title wins in 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015.
