Uproar in both Houses of Parliament; TMC MP’s stage protest against final draft NRC publication

Noisy scenes and uproar were witnessed in both houses of the parliament today as the issue of NRC was raised.

The situation turned out chaotic which led to the adjournment of the Rajya Sabha without the conduction of any substantial business.

Meanwhile, amidst noisy scenes in the Lok Sabha, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, both tried to offer explanations to the irate Trinamool Congress MP’s. But the opposition staged a walkout of the Lok Sabha.

TMC MP’s were seen outside the Parliament, holding placards protesting against the NRC exercise.
