Whether you are eating chips or any other snack, it’s always a wonderful surprise to put your hand inside the packet and find an extra chip or some extra pieces, especially when you thought its already finished. However, it was the most unpleasant surprise for a man in Guwahati, as he found a dead deep fried lizard instead of extra pieces of chips inside a packet of potato chips of popular brand Jabsons.

As per inputs, a man named Arinjoy Sandilya was snacking with his family. After finishing half of the packet, they found the dead deep fried lizard instead of chips from inside the packet, which left them shocked and disgusted.

They also suffered from stomach infections following the consumption of the chips.

Arinjoy Sandilya contacted the company Jabsons. He wrote an e-mail to the company attaching the picture of the dead lizard from the sealed packet.

He established contact with a company representative, however, he denied any possibility of such an incident occurring within their factory premises. They denied having anything to do with the mistake.

Disappointed by the company’s response, the family filed a complaint with the relevant food safety regulatory authorities.

This incident raises serious concerns about food safety standards that popular companies like as Jabsons uphold, as well as the apparent disregard for the welfare of their customers.
