Tripura: TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma meets CM Manik Saha

Pradyot Kishore Debbarma maintained that the meeting was not political and centred only on development

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha and TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma held a closed door meeting at the former’s residence in Agartala last night. Although there were speculations that the meeting was a political one, but later Pradyot Debbarma informed that talks solely focused on development in areas under the TTAADC (Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council). Both the leaders also deliberated on the issue of the TTAADC facing financial constraints.
Soon after the meeting Pradyot Debbarma briefing the media said, “We deliberated about development in the TTAADC. I will be going to New Delhi to seek funds from the NITI Aayog. This is not a political, it is purely based on the development agenda.”
“We had a very cordial conversation. This is not a political conversation. I have given all the necessary documents, he said he will examine and forward it accordingly. Almost 100 projects are in the pipeline for which we met the CM. I will not do political meeting here, but will do it in Delhi. We have sought more funds basically” Pradyot added.
