2 women killed, 4 injured in a horrific road accident in Assam

The deceased women have been identified as--Molaya Kakati and Rinku Barman

Two women were killed and 4 others were injured in a road accident in Assam’s Nalbari.

The deceased women have been identified as–Molaya Kakati and Rinku Barman, while those injured were identified as- Jonali Medhi, Rupali Pathak, Thunu Talukdar and Kabita Pal Das.

The accident occurred on Thursday evening at Baruaputa near Mukalmua.

As per inputs, they were on their way to Amingaon in a shared autorickshaw when it was hit by a speeding vehicle from behind. The driver along with the vehicle fled the spot. The 2 women died on the spot.

The injured persons were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police has launched a hunt to nab the accused person.
