Arunachal Pradesh: Suspected militant gunned down by forces

A suspected militant was gunned down by security forces at the Betcamp area under Miao police station in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
Inputs suggest that 2 gunmen opened fire targetting a Assam Rifles patrolling party after which the troopers retaliated.
In the retaliatory action, one person was killed while the other managed to flee under the cover of darkness. One pistol has been recovered from the spot. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
