Sikkim students missing case: Parents meet Gujarat Police in New Delhi

The police team assured the parents that they would do everything to trace the two students who went missing from Gujarat

In a recent development in the Sikkim missing students’ case, the parents of both students met the investigating team of Gujarat Police in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The police team assured the parents that they would leave no stone unturned to trace the two students who went missing from Gujarat’s Nautanpuri Dham Pranami Global School in Jamnagar on August 28.

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, who is keeping a close track of the investigation process is also in touch with the Gujarat government, and have instructed the concerned departments to expedite the search operations and take the necessary actions.

The two students, identified as Paljor Tamang and Devraj Subba, students of Class 8, boarded the Okhla-Jaipur Train from Khambhaliya Railway Station in Gujarat at 10:30 p.m. on August 28.

They were last spotted on CCTV footage at Jaipur Railway Station on August 29 at 3:30 pm, from where they purchased tickets for Delhi.

CM Tamang has already directed the Resident Commissioner of Sikkim stationed in New Delhi for constant monitoring to find out the missing children of Sikkim.
