Mizoram University professor receives ‘Exemplary Contribution’ award

Prof. Zaithanzauva Pachuau has been awarded for his "great efforts to connect education to employment
In a proud moment, Prof. Zaithanzauva Pachuau, Director of the Center for Distance and Online Education at Mizoram University, received ‘Exemplary Contribution’ award for his contribution to education and employability through online education at Mizoram University.
Prof. Zaithanzauva Pachuau, a Senior Professor in Mizoram University was selected for the award by a jury panel comprising of educationists and industry experts. He has been awarded for his “great efforts to connect education to employment,” an official release said.
The award was presented to him by Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar (Padma Vibhushan) at the Grand Conference and Award function titled “Making India Employable,” organized by the India Education Forum, the India Employer Forum, Grant Thornton, Digivarsity, and TeamLease EdTech.
The award ceremony was held on September 8 at Novotel Mumbai International Airport.
