Massive fire engulfs private property in Dibrugarh

A devastating fire broke out at a residence at Pragati Path, Hatimura area in Dibrugarh this evening at 7 pm, damaging it completely.
As per inputs, the house belonged to Jhivlal Karmakar, a mason by profession.
Although fire tenders reached the spot soon after receiving reports of the fire, the house was razed to ashes before they could douse the fire.
A police team was quick to reach the spot and began investigating to ascertain the cause of fire.
Meanwhile, locals informed that the fire was triggered by a cylinder blast.
