Rhino carcass with severed horn found in Manas National Park

Days after a poaching incident in Kaziranga, another rhino was allegedly killed by poachers - this time in the Manas National Park

As per inputs, the carcass of the rhino was found in the Bhuyanpara Range of the national park with its horn severed. Although the horn has been recovered, the actual cause of the rhino’s death is yet to be officially ascertain. Notably, the pachyderm was brought to the Manas National Park in 2009 from Kaziranga National Park.
