CM Sarma informed that if there is a delay in the work of the people, then a hundred rupees will be deducted from the salary of the public servants
The Assam government, led by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Biswa, announced on Saturday that the state will soon have a ‘Right to Public Service Commission’ (RTPS), where the public can address their grievances regarding the delivery of notified public services within the stipulated time frame.
“I believe that within this year we will be successful in operating RTS commission,” CM Sarma said.
In a clear message, CM Sarma informed that if there is a delay in the work of the people beyond the stipulated time, then a hundred rupees will be deducted from the salary of the public servants.
“If a person doesn’t get their work done in the stipulated time, then they can approach the RTPS Commission. The commission will issue a notice to government officials seeking an explanation for the delay. If the commission finds that because of laziness the work is not done, every day Rs 100 will be deducted from the salary.”
The Chief Minister said in a stern tone that the campaign against corruption will continue. He urged the newly recruited employees to stay away from corruption.
