Will the center achieve a breakthrough in the ongoing peace talks with the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council, or HNLC, this year?

Well, if the latest statement by HNLC interlocutor Sadon K. Blah is anything to go by, then a substantial portion of the peace talks may conclude in 2023.

He also informed that the government is working on the Amnesty demand of the proscribed outfit.

“Regarding the amnesty that was demanded in the last press statement that I had given after the official meeting with the home ministry, from both the government they are working over it,” Sadon K Blah said.
