LS Polls 2024: Key meet of 12 BJP state units begins in Guwahati

Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a crucial meeting of the 12 BJP state units of Eastern India is being held in Guwahati. The meeting is scheduled to begin by 10 AM.
Leaders of BJP units of 12 Eastern states — 8 northeastern states, and Odisha, West Bengal, Jhakhand and Bihar would be huddled together to strategise and prepare the preliminary roadmap to crack 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Assam Chief Minister and one of BJP’s top strategists, Himanta Biswa Sarma will also be attending the all important meeting.
Assam BJP President Bhabesh Kalita said, “Discussions will be held in details about the party’s strategy and preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Sangathan Mahamantri, Prabhaari, deputy Prabhaari, presidents of all 12 states will be present in the meeting.”
On July 5, a core committee meeting of the Assam BJP was held in the presence of BJP National General Secretary (Organization) B L Santhosh at the party headquarter. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, union minister Sarbananda Sonowal besides other leaders were present in the meeting.
