In news just coming in, one person was shot dead and two injured in an incident of firing this morning along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. The firing incident has been reported from Dhemaji district of Assam. The district is along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. According to initial reports, miscreants from Arunachal Pradesh came in and opened fired on the three people on the Assam side who were planting trees and saplings. The dead person has been identified as Boga Chutia. The injured have been identified as Pushpa Gogoi and Montu Gogoi.
