India, Bangladesh approves setting up of haats along the border

India and Bangladesh government have jointly approved the setting up of border haats in the Raghna area of North district and the Kamalpur area of Dhalai district on the India-Bangladesh
India and Bangladesh government have jointly approved the setting up of border haats in the Raghna area of North district and the Kamalpur area of Dhalai district on the India-Bangladesh border of Tripura.
In addition, proposals have been sent to the Centre by the Tripura Government to set up four other border haats in the Bamutia area of West district, Hirachra area of the Unakoti district, Ekinpur area in the south district and Boxanagar area of Sipahijala district.
Setting up up of more Haats along the Indo-Bangla border will make trade relations between both the countries smooth.
