Over Rs 11 lakh robbed from a bank in Manipur during the violence

Unidentified miscreants robbed the Churachandpur branch of Manipur State Cooperative Bank and decamped with cash of over Rs 11 lakh
The bank robbery took place between May 3-12, the period when the state was rocked by unprecedented violence that left over 60 dead, at least 230 people injured and thousands displaced. This was informed by the Deputy General Manager of Manipur State Cooperative Bank, L Angouba. The official said that a complaint has been filed with the Nambol police in connection with the incident.
