The residents of Dollungmukh staged a protest march against the bombing range of the Indian Air Force. Locals alleged that they are facing lots of issues because of the exercises carried out by the IAF.

Just days ago, a local was severly injured after he was hit by a sharpnel from one of the routine drill exercise. As per reports mithuns were killed during a similar drill a week earlier.

The villagers have been demanding shifting of the firing range for years and had also submitted memorandum on many occasion to the state and central government regarding the matter, but no action has been taken so far.
