Punjab Shocker! Car Driver Drags Traffic Police constable on Bonnet for 1 KM in Ludhiana | VIDEO

A car driver dragged a Punjab traffic policeman on duty at Mata Rani Chowk cop for a km in Ludhiana. Police have arrested the accused and seized the vehicle

In a shocking incident, a car driver dragged an on-duty traffic police constable on the bonnet of his vehicle in Punjab’s Ludhiana . The car driver drove for around 1 km while with the policeman on to top of the bonnet.

The constable was identified as Hardeep Singh. He suffered injuries in the incident that happened on April 14.

The traffic police constable was on duty at Mata Rani Chowk in Ludhiana when he was dragged by a car rider.

The driver of the car was identified as Mukal Motu. The incident happened when Mukal was driving the car while his friend Monu was sitting along with him.

The police registered a case against Mukal Motu for attempt to murder, besides other charges. Police have seized the vehicle.

The constable claimed that despite signalling the car driver to stop, Motu tried to drive the car over him. The cop fell on the bonnet of the car after which he was dragged for almost a kilometre.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Ramandeep Singh said Mukal and Monu have criminal records against them.
